Studio V Dance was officially established in 2012 as a part of Lil' Harvard Private Learning Center, eventually expanding to its own location. Studio V Dancers have taken home awards in Best In Class Team, Technique Awards, Precision Awards, Highest Point Awards, Choreography Awards, and Super Sweepstakes Awards, just to name a few.

 

Through the establishment of Studio V Dance, the director, Ms. Ashley, has instilled the utmost skill and confidence in many young dancers, motivating them to dance for their middle and high school teams across Houston and beyond. Many of these dancers have gone on to become successful college dancers, captains, coaches/directors, and social media influencers. Many of Ms. Ashley’s students thank her for presenting them with awesome opportunities such as dance competitions, NBA halftime performances, and other community events.

 

 

On May 5th, 2022, Studio V Dance celebrated its 10th year of operation. Upon the 10-year anniversary of Studio V Dance, Ms. Ashley was presented with a proclamation from Mayor Sylvester Turner and the city of Houston declaring May 5th as Studio V Dance Day. In honor of Studio V Dance Day, Ms. Ashley plans to give back by way of various charity events, sponsorship, and scholarship opportunities for her dancers. 

 

For over a decade,  Studio V has kept its vision and mission clear: to build dancers from within. Thanks to Ms. Ashley’s work and influence, so many young dancers were able to see their dreams as an attainable reality and go on to achieve those dreams in adulthood.

There is a lot more to come from Studio V as we begin Season 11 in a brand new location with a highly-accomplished staff of instructors.
